From Alex:
-Not Just Alone: 2 Timothy 2:22, we need to be faithful and do hard things with other like-minded people - Ecclesiastes 4:12
-Not Just With Peers: Proverbs 13:12, 1 Corinthians 15:33, hang with the old and the wise - Ephesians 6:1-3
-Not Just With People: Media is a companion. We are the media we surround ourselves with. Pay attention to people and media carefully...choose them carefully.

From Gregg:
Colossians 3:20/Ephesians 6:1-4/Proverbs 20:29/Proverbs 16:31
The problem isn't necessarily whats ON the TV, but what doesn't happen in the home when the TV is on. Take this challenge to do hard things to heart. The rebelution is a meeting of wisdom and strength. Teens have more strength than they know what to do with and not the wisdom to use it productively - adults have more wisdom but not the strength to share it enough. We are partners! Age integrated partnership to do hard things in every season of life.

From Brett:
1. Must have a hero (at least one)
2. Make friends with dead people (read books by dead the great books)
3. Take advantage of rebelution friends (thats what this blog is for :P)
4. Find the secret rebelutionaries (lead the way! be an obvious rebelutionary)
5. Seek out godly individuals and ask them "what do you wish you knew when you were my age?"
6. Seek out the ultimate companion in Jesus Christ (you can't do it without him)

And a final idea from Hebrews 12:1
Sit in a circle and go around and share what in your life is weighting or holding you back from changing and doing hard things.
Find 1 thing to put off - fast from it for 1 month
Find 1 thing to put on - exercise and grow stronger - a do hard thing

If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got

Rearrange the furniture of your life - RADICAL CHANGES

These are my notes from the last session where all three Harris guys gave us application. (April 5, 2008)

Chelsey, thanks for making this blog! This is awesome! I can't wait for others to join in!

Hey thanks Chelsey!

The conference really was a spiritual revival for me. I've made a commitment to get know the younger guys in our church, and I'm starting out by making a twice-or-so a month fellowship group for the young guys.

I got the idea from Taige MacMahon, who did the same thing. For about 30-45 minutes we go over a book (say, Systematic Theology... well maybe not that one) and then the rest of the time we will just hang out and fellowship.

Anyways, thanks again for setting this up!

Mark, what a great idea! I agree, the conference was really a big revival for me as well. It has really made me think about things more, as well as inspired, encouraged, and challenged me to do hard things!
