I've always had a heart for evangelism, but right now I'm kind of stuck. I live on a street where all my neighbors are christians. All of my friends are christians and I'm homeschooled. My schedule is too busy right now to do any GO team events. Still I want to reach out to people. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is great Darcy! I totally know how you feel!!! One thing you can do is if you have any friends that you email or talk on the phone to that aren't Christians...that can be one way to do it. Or just be prepared with a How Good Are You booklet whenever you go shopping with your mom and you could just stop someone...thats what we do on the Go Teams. Praying for you!

I'm where you are right now, Darcy. I haven't really been able to witness to anybody because everyone I associate with are Christians. However, I'm going to get a job pretty soon and that ought to help me get started. Also, I plan on taking classes at CPCC in the fall. This will definitely enable me to be out in the world and evangelize.
I would suggest what Chelsey said, and maybe there's a way for you to get involved in a group that may not be part of the church. Like volunteering for things in your community or wherever. I don't know, those are just my thoughts. And don't forget to pray for God to send you a person that you can witness to.

You know Darcy....Chelsey and Melly have made great points. It is even hard for me as an adult, because I see most of my interactions are with people who are Christians already, but I forget about the people at stores or restaurants or places like that. If you will be going to a pool this summer, you may have many opportunities there to be a witness. ALSO, remember, if you are a mother's helper or if you babysit, you are a witness to the kids there....they need your testimony and witness too! Ask God to show you people...and He will!
